HI Scotty; I'v owned Hecla several times, in hopes she would
make a come back..only onec did I win playing her..
If silver will hold it's price she could make it this time,
but note this..the recent price rise was because silver went
up..and speculators jumped in..now today she traded 5 times
her avg voluume.and did not rise one cent..that BIG volume and
no price increase says the Bigger holders of HL are selling
like dogs and getting out while the silver price is high..
A bunch of UK biggies bought a BIG bundle of HL last year..
any way if you got profits on your calls take em...a 1M volume
and no price increase on HL does give her much strenth...
let the price of silver fall a few cents and you'l see
HL dump a point in a heart beat.
With HL you have to get her fast just
as silver goes up, but before she does and while the volume is
still low..also note she gaped up a few days ago..if she comes
back to 4.5 and the price ofg silver holds I may give her
another try..but I think this silver price is goin to tank
before long..I use to buy the raw stuff..last time I had
any I had to hold it 8 years to break even.
I was dealing in silver back from 76 to 96..I got out
and won't return..but HL could be a speculators play,
if your care full and read the signs good.
Silver has lost it's glitter to me..the price is not because of
demand..or the lack of supply..it's pure manipulation..
there is more silver now than every before..and we are using
less every year. It's become a by product of all mining operations
as it's gotten easyer and cheaper to extract it from the other minerals , this is a flash in the pan, good luck.
Jim
