Not a chance. If you step back and take a big view of things, there are businesses that have a certain "core" group of customers. Take Sun for example. They have a core following of people interested in their servers. They will never be as big as IBM but they scale their overhead down so that they can put out their computers, serve their customers and make a profit.

Apple is no different. Apple has a core group of customers. Apple is simply scaling down to a point where their overhead is low enough for them to put out their computers, service their cusotmers and make a profit. We should reach that point in the next few months. Ignore the stock prices. It will take care of itself once Apple goes black.

The good news for Apple is that from that point Apple has a good chance of scaling back up quite a bit. Apple's new OS is the same as Sun's (fundamentally, both are based on the same UNIX version) and Apple, unlike Sun, can sell from the low end desktop up to the largest servers.
