All,

Interesting but not surprising day. I'm just sorry I had to be gone. I checked the market this morning before I left and it looked like an uneventful day. Was very surprised when I saw closing numbers.

IMO we will have weakness until the end of the year. Mike and I discussed this on his Value thread about a month ago. We're being hit by funds selling off losers so they son't show up on their end of year reports and an end of year selloff of losers for tax writeoffs. All of this in addition to the Asian Panic Flu. After the 1st, the same sellers will be looking for stocks like Deswell.

My response was to send cash to Schwab. My intentions are to average down further with $20K if the opportuntiy comes. I had a limit order on 1K shares @16.50 (no fill) and 1K warrants @4.25 (filled at $4.125). My mistake was not putting more shares into the warrant offer, but I have enough warrants and am wanting to add to stock position. Like Paul, I consider the next two weeks potential buy opportunities.

Look at what we know. It's available to the public, but how many are actually following this thread?

For what it's worth,
Ron
