Improved content for Netflix, wouldn't hurt a bit...speaking as an LT subscriber.
They 'gave' me a 2 yr reprieve from an increase, as a current subscriber...whee.

Personally, the thing that keeps me on NFLX is their DVD/BluRay service. If they did not have it, I'd think hard whether not to convert to Amazon Prime.

DVDs are their main moat. Streaming moats are inertia and exclusive content, but it's not clear if they can get the best exclusives.

Netflix is not even very user friendly. For example, it's very hard to know if you watched the movie before. The only way to mark it "watched" is to rate it, which I hate doing. When they suggest you things to watch, they don't give a crap that you have watched something before and keep suggesting it again. Same thing about movies in "my list" - they keep suggesting these too.

Of course, it's possible that other services are even worse. :)

If they can't improve their content NFLX stands to lose share.
