Whatever... I know where you're leading me with that question, so don't insult me with it.

Another flaw in your scheme is that phyto thrives when there's upwelling of nutrients and water movement. Global warming has caused stratification of ocean and the upper warm layer is stagnant. Fertilizing this layer would cause a temporary bloom, which would uptake all the oxygen leading to anoxia or hypoxia (i.e. low oxygen). This would produce the opposite of the desired effects.
