<Cisco Systems fell over six
points on concern about rising inventory of its products, although analysts said the bulk-up
represents increased demand.>

interesting; sounds like cautiously optimistics.

some facts that should be considered:
(1) 3 for 2 splits. Typically companies tend to do splits when
they typically know the overall backlog and how the company
will do for the next 3-6 mos. It means very likely there is
a good backlog which corresponds to the built-up in inventory
(2) 10% more households will get PCs in US this xmas, and almost all
will be linking to the Internet and increasing demand on the
network infrastructure. This goes well for csco
products as they owned 85% of Internet networking products.

considering these, this may be a very good buying opportunity,
and also every 2 shares bought on the Monday and Tuesday of next week
will become 3 shares on Thursday

To All:
Look into the data of CSCO trading:
12/12/1997 CLS: $76.56 $CHG: -6.13 VOL: 26730600
12/11/1997 CLS: $82.69 $CHG: -2.69 VOL: 15589500
12/10/1997 CLS: $85.38 $CHG: -2.06 VOL: 11852100
12/09/1997 CLS: $87.44 $CHG: -2.31 VOL: 8742900
12/08/1997 CLS: $89.75 $CHG: +0.38 VOL: 4607300
Since Dec.9, CSCO price has been going down, but the trading volume has been going up. In the term of TA, this down-trend would be reversed to up-trend soon. To be honest, I do not when, but it will.
$85+ is my target for next week.
Good luck to all!
NXC

Ibexx,

I am still hanging tough to watch Cisco, Intel, MSFT. It is very painful. How do you feel about this? Are we really in trouble now? Do you still keep your leaps? I feel that we could have another painful month to go before we can see some light?

Respectfully
