Actually, I was telling you pH 7 is not considered the neutral point in biological systems. I'm sorry that it was over your head.

Total strawman. Despite having stomach acid of about 2, a pH of 7.1 is considered life-threatening acidosis by medical science.

Right; that's why acidosis is effecting shell fish in the Pacific NW before other regions.
