Man, I am desperate. What else to invest in besides bond and treasury bill? I am thinking about Year 2000 stocks now, just based on hype, no need for real earnings. Do you see that ALYD stock? Market cap equals couple hundred million, revenue almost nil. Btw, there was some rumor that Microsoft wants to buy Hotmail for couple hundred million but the company turns down because they want to go public in the future. This company provides free e-mail service and derives income from advertisement. They are second to AOL in number of subscribers. It's such a simple concept, no development necessary and now the company is worth several hundred million. I heard that SI will go public in the future too.

Hi Dan:

Thanks for all your thoughtful posts. Do you see any turnaround in the cards for the near term for our little MRVC (i.e. within the next three months or so)? I added more to my stockpile at $22 1/2 today. Hoping that wasn't a bad move.....mph
