Eric, there's no such thing as a free lunch. Your "free" solar from your roof is heating the air and causing climate change. If your roof was white all that heat would have been shot straight back out into space without causing any climate change, climate disruption, or global warming. Instead, you are collecting as much as you can to turn it into hot water which then heats the air and ground [when it flows down the drain]. The heated ground heats the air. If you want heat, dig a hole in the ground and get heat from the mantle where there is a stupendously vast amount which is heating the air as it flows through the ground and causes greenhouse effect [ the warm ground radiating into the CO2 as warm ground does]. Using Gaia's heat is sustainable as it was going to go into the air anyway, just as our skin cools our interior, but you get it a bit sooner. I use geothermal electricity and hydroelectricity. I use methane in a thermal station too and would use coal if I wanted to do so as I don't think CO2 is a problem. CO2 is good at least up to 500 or 600 ppm. Maybe our descendants could review the situation at 500 ppm and see how things are going and what effects there are. If there's no hot ground where you are living, move to somewhere there is if you want hot water. If you move to somewhere like Rarotonga, you'll be more interested in cool water as it's always warm or hot there. Some people have water chillers to get some cold water to drink in a hot climate. You should move somewhere like that if you want heat. But don't use a chiller. You should probably hide the fact that your family has been involved in producing Boeing airliners. That's like being a coal mining family! Teaching people how to fly and flying is like being a ringleader in how to mine coal and mining it. Having caused a huge catastrophic problem, you are now pretending to care, while continuing to cause more Global Warming with your solar heating, Tesla, and profligate life style. How many people do the Global Alarmists say will die from Global Warming? Well, you have that blood on your hands. To use Godwin's Law, Adolf only killed several millions of people. Boeing must be worse than that since there are a LOT of Boeings roaring around the sky and have been for decades. I know you are only killing a few "Jews" and other unwanted people now, but even your small contribution to the slaughter is unethical. Now, get out there and paint your solar panels white. Maoris were living in Rotorua to enjoy the volcanic heat bubbling up in steaming hot boiling water centuries ago. People in Rotorua have thermal bores for hot water in their houses these days. I soak in hot water springs in Tauranga, the heat coming from the ground, 50 km from Rotorua.
