Why would Dems commit political suicide by supporting something that the majority of the country doesn't support. That is fucking ridiculous. Many of us supported gay marriage and other aspects of minority diversity long before a majority of the country did. I applaud you for having come to your recent conclusion re gay marriage. However, I was accepting of gay marriage nearly 20 years ago. Obama is a politician........he would be foolish to come out and support something when his constituents are not ready. >> Many Rs are unrepentant racists. Rs are so racist that in the first 4 years of the Obama administration, they didn't realize the negative reaction to their humor.......like showing watermelons growing on the WH lawn. Why else would they send those emails to a whole slew of people? Then when they got caught.......they pled ignorance or complained they were simply joking. The latest is Sterling......the jackass. For those of us way past this BS.......its frigging annoying. There are so many more important issues at hand. And yet, we have to wait for the right to catch up. One thing is certain: Democrats are far more apt to use race baiting tactics as we have seen over the last six years. It has been everywhere and it is shameful. There is at least 10x the amount of race baiting in use by Democrats as there is actual racism in Democrats and Republicans combined. Every single TV host on MSNBC is guilty of it -- Sharpton, Matthews, Ed Schultz, Maddow, this guy Toure, all of them. And the President, himself, has at times been racist, as when he unjustly attacked a while police officer for doing his job with regard to a black university professor subject. Who says any of us are pure when it comes to racism? We all grew up in a racist culture. That means all of us will manifest racism from time to time. However, there are light years between where Obama is at and where some Rs are at.
