It always does if you have patience.

I thought the Buffett purchase was already public info. I've known about it for a month or so. Agencies make money regardless the direction of the market as long as there are transactions. They prefer up and to the right but will survive on the down side as well. The agents on the other hand...

My suggestion was vague by intention.

If I remember correctly, you said he was going to buy property. Instead, he bought a real estate company. There is a difference.

One thing is for sure, though. Buffett thinks the Silicon Valley real estate market will be hot for quite some time. We may be in a local bubble right now, but even if it bursts, the bet is that it will rebound.
