Collapse Of The Michigan Ice Pack
Posted on May 13, 2014 by stevengoddard

During the past week, the Michigan ice pack has largely collapsed – just as the climate models predicted.

“It was all thin rotten first year ice, not like the mile thick multi-year ice we used to have 20,000 years ago.”

I certainly hope some of the Antarctic ice sheet will melt ... if it doesn't it'll keep growing until it covers the southern hemisphere.

The National Snow and Ice Data Centre said the rapid expansion had continued into May and the seasonal cover was now bigger than the record “by a significant margin’’.
“This exceeds the past record for the satellite era by about 320,000sq km, which was set in April 2008,’’ the centre said.

The above is from wattsupwiththat .... don't ya just hate them for publicizing stuff like that when you're trying to scare people about Antarctica melting?

Woe is us.
