The theoretical, but unproved, water feedback warming enhancement is a downstream effect, not the cause. CO2 is the driving force in Eric's book. He doesn't understand that windows cause global warming. He's thinking he has an environmentally sound house. He doesn't. He has a personally advantageous house with costly externality, pushing his global warming onto other people. And it's free!! He loves to get free stuff with the externality suffered by others. But he can't understand the simple physics of it.

You did well to paint your roof white. That shows a level of understanding. A simplistic one because cooling is the risk, not warming. So, when your white roof has snow on it from 2020 cooling, it will not be doing anything.
