I must admit, on two of mine that would have been nice. But I can roll them forward and still make a little money in doing so.

Also, if you are going to buy, say with a limit order to get a good price, selling a put is very, very similar. Either way you are saying I want the stock at that price, or at least willing to take it.

If I liked the stock in the low 30s and bought it, I shouldn't complain too much about getting Put at 23 3/8s.
