No wonder we are so screwed. 4 feet in a couple of centuries and the fear mongering goes like this:

"The sheet’s slide into the ocean, and the resulting sharp rise in sea levels, will probably happen slowly".

Between Eric's earlier post and this one I wonderd how high the ocean has risen in the previous 2 centuries and came across this below.

I guess the basic premise is to keep hammering away on global warming until people accept it as fact. Or it is just another ploy take citizens focus off the misery index. Either way we are so screwed.
