I can't agree more...can the tech sector be leading the whole market down?

< Selected financial stocks with limited international exposure could do well in the coming year. The big questions are... will the bailout of S.Korea be effective? How long before orders are rescheduled? Will the Samsungs and Hyundais be able to obtain financing? Where will anticipated PC growth from Asia now come from? I did a little DD on S. Korea...It's a little scary to see what is happening there...it's real for the people there...jobs lost..etc>

I'm not disagreeing but isn't it interesting how everyone is now fully focused on every conceivable problem as compared to a month ago when "these companies were doing all their business in dollars anyway so it doesnt matter". Meanwhile these stocks are ALL down 50% or more from what most analysts and people here on this thread were calling great investments. Now I'm not saying I'm some sort of genius or anything cause I certainly didnt call the top but LETS GET A FREAKING GRIP HERE! Either these companies are going to great over the next 10 years or they won't but NOTHING has changed that I can see if you use a 10 year time frame which is what "investors" should be using. At least thats what I gather from all the arguements that were so bullish 2 months ago but that are now hardly mumbled because our primative brains are now focused on the latest story on T.V.... the bullish scenario was last weeks episode.

So whats it going to be... the "roadmap" is wrong... still working on that section of freeway? Or will we be amazed in 10 years at what the new IC's are doing, who's making them, how many are used and for what...and that AMAT bought INTEL 5 years ago and is now 30% of the S&P?
