I don't think that is true. Mitochondrial DNA samples suggest their origin is Asia and Pacific Islanders. (Seven Daughters of Eve)

Without meaning to be offensive, let me say there are anthropologists of every ilk including straw-graspers!
More often than not, the self-styled "anthropologists" have been wrong. Most illustrious of these was the guy who perpetrated the Piltdown Man Hoax that captured the imagination of anthropologists and other experts for several decades until the hoaxer/prankster himself 'fessed up on his deathbed! One man's evidence does not necessarily constitute irrefutable "proof" because interpretation of the evidence can be highly subjective.

Oh, and by the way, some Japanese claim their ancestors came from the Pleiades Constellation. An emblem based on this constellation is visible on their Subaru cars. Also, some North African blacks claim descent from people who came from Saturn and/or its moons. Interesting and fascinating, isn't it?

If you are interested in archaeology and/or sensationalistic claims of achievements of sorts of the ancients,
