Not true.

>>>"Of course, you don't.........but you always end up defending them. Interesting to say the least."

I have been banned from far more right wing threads than left wing threads. I argue with right wingers when there is a good reason to. I usually get reasoned responses, which I find interesting to say the least. For example, Tenchusatsu recently gave me a really good debate on the history of American Indian conflict which spanned several days. Some of them have gotten fed up with my stylistic approach, so we no longer engage each other. I don't defend "them" on either side except on some occasions when I see someone being treated unjustly. Most of "them" (politicians) could disappear from the political arena and I would never miss "them."

I often correct left wingers here on inaccuracies, exaggerations, hypocrisies, or uncalled for mean spirited bashing of honorable people like Condoleezza Rice, which may give you the impression that I like Republican politicians more than Democrats but that is not the case. Personally my lifestyle is conservative. I live alone and am a very private person, except for things like taking care of my neighbors on occasion. Most people who know me casually, consider me to be a liberal because I approach topics other people what to discuss with an open mind. Some of the left wingers who post here "left" the realm of reason with regard to topical discussion long ago. You, Koan, bentway for example are too predictable; it's 'damn reason full speed ahead all the time,' "Dem position good, Repub position bad"...yawn. Having abandoned reason, you leave yourselves open for correction almost all the time. I like reading what the rat has to say and appreciate his wittasisms and occasionally Shepard for the same reasons when he isn't too drunk.
