The always listening part of the MotoX doesn't really impress me (I have a Bluetooth button on my steering wheel).
For someone with such a button and who doesn't mind having to press a button, it's not too much of a downside. But some of my favorite uses don't fit that scenario. For example, at my kid's track practice last night, I needed to convert a mile distance into meters. With the phone still zipped into my pocket, I commanded it to give me the answer. Had it in seconds. With other phones, you'd have to remove it, unlock manually, then ask, then put away. Similarly, I like being able to ask it for information when I first wake up and am groggy. No need to reach over an grab it first.

Other than that, Siri can do all these things also, as I'm sure you are aware.
Many of them, yes, but many of them not nearly as well, as quickly, or with the same accuracy. As you admitted, navigation lacks a lot. That's my most common use. I'm excited for more phones to pick up this feature.

:-)
I actually discovered a new trick yesterday-- "Siri, find my wife.
Is that a bug or a feature?

I suppose it depends on the length (and quality) of the marriage...
