It's just evolving tastes, I think. At one point, 3.5 inch screens were the most beloved screen size in the smartphone world, but no one complained when the Apple replaced that. 4.7 inches may seem outside their comfort zone for some customers, but it's endemic of how Apple operates. They can set the agenda for their customers like no one else. If Apple says we are going to 4.7 inches, then we are.
