"Seems to me the North Vietnamese were at the peace table when the US Congress defunded the war. We left and the South Vietnamese lost the war and millions of people." Why of course Tide. We had done all we could for those shiftless South Vietnamese but enough is enough. When we evacuated in a hasty rout, it was the South Veet Namese who LOST the war...not the USA. We put it in the WIN COLUMN and count it as another raging military victory. We do that with ALL our military excursions when we get whipped. Declare Victory and Leave!
