Stockroach - I have to agree with you on most of your points, except for that pimple butt issue. There is enough ugliness on the thread as it is. You mentioned an integrated chip from Crus... zdnet.com From Oct 20th S3 press release: GJ - "We believe, however, our financial performance will be impacted by price competition in the short term, at least until our next generation of high performance products move into volume production." Because of my distrust of management and with no news whatsoever concerning the next generation products, I'll wait for design wins or at the very least product announcements before hopping on the bandwagon. Here's my twist on Jan's philosophy on S3: For $0.90, I can get a dollar. However, that dollar would be in GJ's hands... Mark.
