Compaq wanted to install Netscape Navigator on some of their machines, and MS told them that if they did not install IE, then MS would not sell them W95.

Barry, by definition, you can not uninstall "bundled parts", right? Just like you can not buy a car with the airbag uninstalled. The OEMs can install whatever softwares they like, but they can NOT uninstall any microsoft component which came with the OS. JMHO.
