bg,
I was thinking about Oracle! Glad I missed the excitement!! But then I kept one high tech, one box maker, two insurance companies and two tech specs when I sold out on the last rally. Good thing I sold or I would really be sucking wind after this week. High Tech & box maker is bleeding at the ears. Feel sorry for people who got in late. My huge losses are just paper so far.The equilvent of at least one of your fine custom homes in portfolio value has gone down the tollet. Still have the put LEAP I sold and it is one sick puppy right now. Have learned to live with that because it is a little more then a year out. Insurance & specs sure looked good this week. Cash and bonds were kings. Wait until next week. The market will go the other way and I will be out partying next Friday night. Whatever it does I am down to my core holdings, and in for the long run. Have a good week end.

brad...gentlemen...(and ladies, I sincerely hope you are not offended, no offense is intended, just some playfulness that I thought the gentlemen of the thread might amuse themselves with)

I have to admit that I'm a competitive sort, and this thread always amazes me at the great research postings that are made, especially by steve.

So I've been feeling a little, well, inadequate on the research front, but this morning I have a gem to offer...stumbled on it sheerly by accident, and it was in our own backyard:

Subject 15326

It's a paragon of sexist backwater, but, Oh Well...Jill seems to have tolerated it! And for that I once again compliment her excellent work here on SI,
