Yes, short term there just seems to be mass confusion-the clash
of buyers and sellers. As long as the fundamentals remain,
the investor is probably best ignoring the very short term
noise-I certainly can't make any sense of it. I think Intel
will earn over six billion dollars next year(even under adverse
conditions) Based on the short term price action, you'd
think that a Chp. 11 filing is six months away(perhaps an
exageration)

Lets hope that this crisis kills the ability of any potential competitors -
(excuse me - you want to borrow $2B to compete with Intel?) - and
that Intel itself very carefully spends its cash horde - keeping it
intact if things get as bad as they look.
