It is what I expect. Our country is now run by a plutocratic oligarchy. That is why we cannot make any headway on tax reform or global warming and we keep pushing the poor further and further into poverty.

Cheap labor for the plutocrats. They would like slavery, but probably won't get that :>).

The plutocrats are running the country, so their criminal behavior is pervasive and unchecked and both parties are owned to a large degree. And any president who does decide to fight them will confront what FDR confronted, the plutocrats of the day attempted a coo against him. Imagine what they would have done to Obama had he fought them head on? Impeachment attempt for sure.

The difference between pubs and dems is that the pub party is not only owned by the plutocrats, but the pub party has protection of the plutocrats as part of their political platform (unregulated capitalism is their mantra); while many in the dem part are not owned and the dem party does not have protection of the plutocrats as part of their political platform, they just don't fight as much as they should or could.

the experts say that big banks will keep manipulating markets unless and until their executives are thrown in jail for fraud.

.........but the govt. won't go for long jail terms....any jail terms for that matter......what does that tell you?.
Crony capitalism requires two partners............either of which conceivably could put the other in jail...........better that neither spend any time there........and so it goes
