No, I'd much prefer the Republican party of the Eisenhower years, a responsible group of conservatives that could be trusted with America. A viable choice to run the country, a party to keep the (D)'s honest.

But, we have the current mob of yahoos, good only for unintentional comic relief.

So, if we do end up with single party rule, you have no one to blame but yourselves.

In the latest (R) primaries, the Tea Party was defeated totally, but only after driving the RINOS so far right they're indistiguishable. So, there may be hope for your tribe in the future, once they tack back to the center.
