Leo,

What you said about Microsoft is true. It is also possible that Microsoft may sue Corel if Corel tries to clone MS Office.

However, my understanding is that the legal dispute between Lotus and Borland over Quattro Pro was finally settled in Borland's favor after a coule of swings (and after QPro and Lotus were sold). The main issue was centered on Qpro's compatibility with Lotus'menus and macros. I don't think that file compability was an issue. If this is true, does it set precedence for WP to copy menus and macros of MS Office?

Thanks for your response.
