I was part of an evaluation team for the second largest pharm. co. in the world, Roche. I have been told that our evaluation criteria is co. confidential, sorry.
At corp. head quarters here in Switzerland, we brought in every package we could get our hands on and put some very talented people to work 'em over. Of the 3 primary candidate packages we looked at, CyberDOCS 2.0 fell out first. Mainly because it was unable to handle the complexity...it's just too basic in terms of functionality.
But for something like a law practice it would work.
Naturally, Documentrum won big time. I'm long in both stocks. DOCSF at 5.75, so I am praying they move the goods in '98.
Good luck to all.

Frank, You are right, Mr. Osten did not specifically stated that they had sold single copies to each customer. However, he did state (in words that I cannot specifically recall) that revenues were down because they did not get the large orders that they were expecting. To me this means they had small orders (seeding the product) from which they expected large orders to develop (spread within a company). Do you remember Gupta Solo and SPC Superbase ???

You can review Cyberdocs (Version 1.0 possibly Beta ???) at this site

eub.gov.ab.ca

I do believe Mr. Osten and company are very smart folks. They have a proven track record in operation of a software company , the development and marketing of valuable software and growth by acquistition. PCDOCS is moving into a new era as brought out by the chap at the back of the room. Whether their mgt is up to ride is the bet that anyone is making in buying their stock at this time.
