Barb;
That's a good point. Sorry! On the back of the proxy are voting instructions. Instruction no. 2 states, " if we do not hear from you prior to the issuance of the first vote, we may vote your securities in our discretion to the extent permitted by the rules of the exchange (on the tenth day, if the proxy material was mailed at least 15 days prior to the meeting date; on the fifteenth day if the proxy material was mailed 25 days or more prior to the meeting date.) "
I should have read the instructions before I posted, sorry! If I
understand correctly, the unreturned votes will not be counted as
yes votes for at least 10 days, ( hence the delay to Dec. 22.), or could it be 15 days? If there was no quorum before the 10 day (or 15 day ) period they must not have been able to have a recognized vote?
I received my proxy Thursday, but didn't get my mail until the
evening. I tried to vote Friday morning by phone, but was informed
by the machine that votes would not be taken the day of the meeting.
I'll have to try to phone again, and if that doesn't work I can always
use the Postal method.
Michael
I should have thought before posting. Rough week.

After rereading my post, I realized the delay period depends on
" the issuance of the first vote." But since no vote was taken,
where does this leave us? Color me confused.
