Perhaps if Intel licenced AMD process technology they might catch up. This is the only area where AMD can claim to be a generation ahead of Intel.

I agree with you. As long as there is no sign of K6-266 and K6-300, AMD won't see a bottom. Look at the profit margin of AMD in Business Week's article.
