Apparently the police interviewed him after the parents told them of their concerns, and concluded that he was a polite, sweet kid.

Didn't someone look at his videos?! What the hell were they thinking? Didn't this kid have a therapist? There must be far more to this story than I have read so far.

Of course, someone on an RW thread already knows the answer--the kid was another liberal Democrat gone haywire. What a genius that guy is, what a sophisticated thinker.

Yeah, I know, I shouldn't even peek over there, bad for mental health.

What's the big watchword of the day, at least in NYC? "See something., say something". If your kid is at home and you think he is a bomb waiting to go off, tell authorities. As Sam pointed out, these parents did, so they have a full pardon.
Adam Lanza's ma, I think, saw and tried to treat with outings to a gun range. In this case, she received the death penalty.
