So much that even one of America's biggest companies, Exxon Mobil, slapped Obama in the face by recently signing a deal for a joint project to drill for oil in the Arctic and Siberia and to liquefy natural gas for export to the Far East, with Rosneft's (Russia's largest oil firm) CEO, Igor Sechin - despite recent sanctions by Obama's administration. Igor Sechin warned Western governments that more sanctions over Moscow's seizure of the Black Sea peninsula from Ukraine would be counter-productive. His underlying message was clear: If you isolate Russia, Moscow will find business elsewhere. Given the recent half-trillion dollar gas deal with China, I'd say Russia already has.
