BG, excellent questions!! I'm sure many of us are wondering the same thing. I for one am curious as to why some of the "real good news" has to wait as our stock price continues to slide. There seems to be no let up in sight in the near term. However, Frank may be thinking that it is best to wait until tax sell-off time is done (i.e. after 12/31/97). THEN, good news coupled with a new year of trading will have a postive upward effect on the the price. BUT . . . Frank, please don't wait till it goes lower!!!!!!!! I'm also curious as to why all the recent press releases have not done better for the price of FTEL. Nothing seems to budge this stock above $5 as of late and I know the folks who bought above $5 are getting VERY frustrated. It seems to me that there is more than just "MM manipulation" to this mystery. There are many other stocks out there that can't even measure up to where Franklin is at right now, yet their prices zoom (and please don't everyone ask me for the list of those stocks!!). Something seems to be afoot here. It is now my belief there might not be any manipulation RIGHT NOW. The stock price is where it should be. The real manipulation was MM's spiking it up to $10.50 in the first place. IF there was "actual reason" for that rise, we would most likely be there right NOW more than THEN!! To encapsulate RB's statement of "running for the exit door" by the end of the quarter if Franklin can't cut it during this crunch time might not be such a bad idea. It is in my opinion that being in business since 1981, there should have been by now more on the "financial end" of things to support this stock way above its closing price on Friday. I think if FTEL doesn't show some promise by the end of February, it would be logical at that point to assume the quarter is not going too well and exit sooner. Even though I'll bet money that I speak for old-timers here as well, I'll just speak for myself: I've turned to more of a realist than an optimist since the November New York demo. The stock price has not shown much of an upward promise and I HAVE SEEN NO GOOD REASON WHY!!! I'll continue to hold and look forward to product orders coming in. BUT!!!!!!!!!!! SOMETHING HAS TO HAPPEN SOON!!!!!!!!! Cautiously Standing-By, Chris
