You haven't been paying attention Over 80% of Americans are in favor of stricter gun laws The chicken shit Congress responds to the loudmouth 20% There is no working together with those assholes They want unlimited open carry, no background checks and the ability to carry RPG's The universal mental health thing is a red herring cause nobody who thinks like you would possibly support the cost to underwrite that I am always struck with these naive arguments about finding "common ground" You only get there by becoming a lunatic too

You know what's doable? Let's just accepts that we are going to lose tons of people to nuts with automatic and semiautomatic guns. And hey- who really cares? We'll light some candles. We'll put up some little shrines. And we'll wait for the next mass killing- because that's what we do. We're Murricans, and we love our guns. Sexy, fabulous little agents of death that they are. Every kid should have one. Don't go to the bar without one. Make sure to have one handy in every argument. Geez. If we're treating the insane might as well just treat this whole country- because America is nuts. If Muslims were causing the violence guns were causing in our society, republicans would be shitting bricks- but it's just cute cuddly old guns. So we're ok with that. So who the fuck cares? Let the mentally ill kill people. Let kids kill other kids, and themselves. It's all awesome- 'cause it's done with guns. America stronger. What a joke. Stick a fork in us. We're done.
