Hi tejek; Re: "The grieving father clearly doesn't understand how important it is to protect the second amendment.";

I was really impressed! Not everyone has the presence of mind to turn their child's death into political points. The guy is an excellent example of lefty thinking. Funny how he's not asking to ban knives. Funny that he never bothered to examine the relationship between Hollywood values and his son's obsession with sex and violence.

Hollywood sex and violence exist all over the world, and yet, no first world country and many third world countries are as violent as the US. Sorry, dude, your anecdotal observations don't account for much.

However, after years of pretending otherwise, you are starting to admit you have winger tendencies. Mazel tov!

And you said you're a physicist................hmmmmmmmm.

And it's funny that these sorts of things tend to happen in Democrat enclaves. In the deep red part of the country we're up to our eyeballs with guns and our kids don't do this. Maybe it has to do with religion. Maybe it has to do with the fact that we don't constantly tell our children that they're doomed because the world is dying.

Really......democratic enclaves? Another anecdotal observation??? Actually the truth is a bit different........most studies show that the most gun violence occurs in winger states:

America Under the Gun

Our analysis determined that the following are the 10 states, by rank, that suffer
the highest levels of gun violence:
1.
Louisiana
2.
Alaska
3.
Alabama
4.
Arizona
5.
Mississippi
6.
South Carolina
7.
New Mexico
8.
Missouri
9.
Arkansas
10.
Georgia
