Dan,

The positive thing, in some sense, is that Atmel has slid 50% from
the time they announced good earnings and a decent forward looking
statement last quarter (1.2 BTB and all). Hence, an earnings
miss seems to be factored in at this point (unlike Oracle, where
they announced less than expected earnings and are now quickly
about 50% off their high of 42).

Daniel,

It is my understanding that ATML's sales in all SEA countries except Japan are in the almighty dollar. In Japan, its 50-50. Is this not your understanding?

I talked with IR several weeks ago and posted their responses (sorry I do not remember the post number).

At that time IR indicated that all of their Asian business was in USD - except for 50 percent of their business in Japan - which is in YEN. So, I do not think the WON devaluation should hurt ATML from an exchange perspective.
