I knew a med student long ago who was stabbed something like 25 times by a visiting friend who freaked out. Small knife. Other students got him in the car, drove him across the street to the ER. Near -death must have made an impression, cuz I think he is now the medical examiner for Clark Co, Nv. Can't get shot 25 times and survive.
