yeah, yeah, guns don't kill people, blah blah

"If a person straps a vest on and walks into a crowded place and blows up himself and those around him - that likely will have a much worse outcome. Or a fire started in a crowded building."

The last time somebody did the vest here was... uh... I don't know. i don't know about arson stats. Sometimes, somebody uses a car. Guns, oth, kill 30 people a day, one way or another. Crazy Harry (or Fanatical Faisal) can't walk into a gun show and buy a suicide vest, but he can buy some serious firepower and ammo. This guy could have used a car. He could have used an exploding car. He chose a gun. It's the most efficient way of delivering evil.

Guns aren't going away. Sanity checks might help. Can't just start locking up people like this kid, tho.

Obamacare might help, if you can get patient compliance; they forget to take meds and/or renew the Rx.

What's crazy? I think this guy is prolly certifiably pathological paranoid, and a danger to society.

The argument is ridiculous. You are stuck on the idea that guns are the culprit here.

pure wingnut drivel... what's ridiculous is gun nuts apparently lack basic math skills

or is it just coincidence that the country that has the most guns has the most gun deaths per capita?

good god, it's not freaking rocket science

The United States has more guns and gun deaths than any other developed country in the world, researchers found.

A study by two New York City cardiologists found that the U.S. has 88 guns per 100 people and 10 gun-related deaths per 100,000 people — more than any of the other 27 developed countries they studied.

Japan, on the other hand, had only .6 guns per 100 people and .06 gun-related deaths per 100,000 people, making it the country with both the fewest guns per capita and the fewest gun-related deaths.

Country---------- Guns per 100-------- Total Firearm-related Deaths per 100,000
