Sam, I agree with you that anything can happen (read my earlier "Korean Doom" posts). However, what MRVC said here directly contrasts with negative things that a few other companies have said. That is, MRVC's ASIA revenue will remain at the same percentage for this quarter. And, MRVC's quarter extends longer than quarters already logged by such companies with reported problems.

I have actually heard a few companies say that prospects remain good in Asia. I guess it depends on how good you are...if you are tops you can make it. Considering MRVC is a price/functionality leader here, I could see where they might win more customers in a tight financial situation. Besides, MRVC is doing well in the US and Europe gaining market share.

There is one thing I didnt say in both posts regarding Asia guys. Noam also stated that this situation was far from being over in Asia. Joe Malach brought this to my attention when he read through my post here and it really does need to be said. Even though MRVC has done well to date, and I believe can continue to make in roads. There still is a problem that is not resolved as of yet. In other words, anything can happen..... IMO

really superb report, Sam. You have our absolute gratitude. Couldn't agree more with the comment on the "power" of SI contributors...not exactly on par with even the lowliest WS analyst. That's not to say that the gullible tuned into SI can't be misled by artful comments of individuals with an agenda to push but in the overall investment community we ain't much better than the stammerer.
