Yeah. It's what we have to do.

Handguns are so very easy to use, and you don't have to get blood all over your hands- which can be a turn off. Plus, you can kill people a lot faster with a gun that a knife. And a certain amount of skill is involved with a knife. If you've ever cleaned any kind of animal, or even taken a chicken apart, you know knives slide off bones, and things get slippery, with blood and gore. Guns are so very nice and clean- assuming you aren't holding it right against someone's head- and even then, the spray pretty much goes the other way- judging from what I've seen of animal kills.

So really, is it any surprise people like guns for killing people? They're ideal. It's why most people shoot animals rather than knifing them to death. Guns are awesome killing devices. Not good for much else- but for killing- superb.
