Actually, you're much more likely to be killed by an angry spouse. The mentally ill can be spectacular- but "normal" people dealing with anger, poor safety regimens or alcohol, or kids with guns- do a lot more damage.

With the number of idiots in this country, it's amazing we have as "few" deaths as we have. If the population was younger, we'd have a lot more- the graying of America has cut violent crime for us, despite our idiotic love for weapons.
