My argument from the start bentway is that what is a good compromise to you is not acceptable to the vast majority of gun owners. You have to understand that, don't you? ...........If it was acceptable to the majority of gun owners it would have been enacted into law at least after Sandyhook. People here seem to demonize me for telling you the truth. Epicure said it didn't matter what she thinks - and it doesn't matter what I think - and it doesn't matter what you think. It is what is doable. What can be achieved. What has a realistic chance - or even a snowballs chance in hell - of getting passed into law. ............That's all I'm saying bentway, since gun legislation is dead, why do liberals use up all their energies and good will going after a helpless cause? Why not instead focus on things that have a chance of passage?
