I got back from a business trip yesterday and was scanning over the posts and news only to read that 2D seismic was going to be used by two new companies, this after Wavetec has completed it's work. My question is why more seismic after Russia's data has been looked at by Wavetec, and Wavetec's new data either confirms the Russin data or not? My second question is why 2D insted of 3D, that doesn't make sense to me, especially if Wavetec used 3D, which I would hope they did?
I read an artical in the paper (Houston Chronicle) I think, that had a clip about Amaco just being cut out of a deal in Russia, which I beleave, leaves them without a major partnership in the area, that in itself may not mean much but it's one less area or deal open to them.
