BECAUSE I WANT IT TODAY!!!!! AND I DON'T TRUST THE INTERNET....IF IT DOES NOT WORK I WANT TO BE ABLE TO BRING IT BACK AND THROW IT AT THE SALESMEN...I DONT WANT IT TO GET CRUSHED WHILE BEING SHIPPED....I WANT THE GUY AT THE STORE TO TELL ME HOW TO PUT IT TOGETHER....DON'T I NEED SOME XTRA SOFTWARE....WOW, I JUST LOOKED AT AN AD FROM DELL AND IT SEEMS THAT THE LOWEST PRICE SYSTEM THEY HAVE IS ABOUT $1700....REMEMBER I DON'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT COMPUTERS....INTEL INSIDE?? DOESN'T MEAN WHAT IT USE TO....I HAVE A STONG NEED TO LOOK AROUND AND SHOP... It seems to me that almost everyone who owns a computer today would be willing to buy a system from cpq w/ an AMD chip and save a few hundred bucks. 2 years ago I would not even think about an AMD cpq system..today I plan to buy one after xmas when they are giving them away......Guess what...If it don't work right..Compaq will take it back....WE DUMB AMERICANS ALL HAVE HEARD OF COMPAQ COMPUTER...acer...flex...compusa...joe shmo....cant TRUST THEM.. ..SO my only choice is the inexpensive one made by Compaq... This is how the average guy thinks. Dave
