MiB, We are in agreement re the world...but not re Rambus.

The current Aisian "crisis" is, in my mind, nothing more than the beginning...and anyone who long-term invests in this market is out of their mind...in my opinion. There is a lot of money to be made trading short and long and in investing...as long as one makes a business out of it = 8 hours a day...

Rambus is, however something else entirely. Its not a stock and its not an investment...it is a crap table. With scoundrels like H&Q putting out news releases designed only to help the holders of 17 million now released shares get out, with old news releases being re-issued with new headlines for the same reason and with the market makers "managing" the market as they do, there is darn little "real" about this company YET...in my mind.

I would much rather buy this stock on the way up than on the way down as "catching a falling knife" is something I have never been able to do.

Don't worry, the insiders will let us know by their actions what is going to happen well before any real earnings increases happen.

I just don't see Rambus...as a trade or as an investment...long or short...for now. I have been both profitably and now, I don't know what it is going to do...so I will wait and see.

If I had to guess, I would guess that Rambus is showing the same things that EFII was showing for the past many weeks...i.e., something is wrong...not just with the overall market...not just with the tech sector...but with the company itself.

Good luck, Mike
