..yes they are There is a growing school of thought, that humans are capable of determining appropriate modes of behaviour without joining clubs for group mind control though

<< Plato, Confucius and Budha are all in my mind "religious figures" because they wrote about spirit worlds, divinities (now considered pagan), and philosophies of behavior. Aren't all religions simply codified rules of behavior intertwined with assumed divine spiritual (non-corporeal) entities?>> They didn't write about spirit worlds that I remember. They talked about kindness, civility and levels of understanding. And the pagans were really just the ancient Greek thinkers, whom we have vilified over the ages, but who were actually the good and smart guys of the day.
