In reality, though, a lot of people don't do that. Or they eventually get there but lose alot of years and maybe some of their personal human potential to things like substance abuse or criminality. But we aren't seriously arguing that these are more likely to be agnostics or atheists are we? Of course that would be nearly impossible to quantify, but I strongly doubt that the ranks of the wayward, that you describe, have a greater proportion of non-believers than is present in society as a whole ...and my intuition informs that it is actually a smaller percentage cause they are more intelligent in general ...and that has been quantified
