I'm laughing at the fact that you guys thought that the only way that societies move is forwards towards socialist harmony. You didn't read history and so you didn't know that the Nazis were socialists. And you're totally unaware that the disruptions you're planning for the economy vastly increase support for totalitarian parties. Or maybe you do; the nazis were famous for supporting environmentalism decades before it became popular in other parties. And there's really not much either of us can do about it. It's written into the inevitable consequences of having people's income provided by the State. As soon as that happens, human nature being human nature, the fight will begin over just exactly who will get that income and how much. And political fights over income in multicultural states inevitably end up transforming international socialism into national socialism (nazism). ------ But the collapse of the scientific support for global warming alarmism, along with the horrible job the Dems did in redoing the US health system, mean that the conversion process for the US has been set back about 30 years. I don't expect to live long enough to see a neonazi party pick up 25% of the US vote. It can't happen until we stop arguing over big versus little government. The neonazis in Europe are supporters of big government; they're all in favor of the welfare state. Instead, their complaint is over what the present big government is doing in terms of who gets what. When that argument arrives here, the people who think that today's Republicans are nazis will be shocked. From the UKIP manifesto, note support for health care and government housing:Care And Support For All • Open GP surgeries in the evening, for full-time workers, where there is demand. • Locally-elected County Health Boards to inspect hospitals - to avoid another Stafford Hospital crisis. • Prioritise social housing for people whose parents and grandparents were born locally. • Allow the creation of new grammar schools. • Make welfare a safety net for the needy, not a bed for the lazy. Benefits only available to those who have lived here for over 5 years.ukip.org They're just redefining exactly what "all" means, LOL. -- Carl
