It is just a plain statement of fact. He would NOT win today, that is a near 100% certainty. He was, after all, named "Liar of the Year", very publicly, about one of the topics that was critical to his winning ("You can keep your doctor, period.") That lie was essential to his winning the election; today, the vast majority of people are dissatisfied with Obamacare, and in a recent Gallup poll, it was found that far more believed they had been damaged by it than were helped by it. It is important to mention that the president's "signature" legislation was essentially deferred in its implementation until after the election because they flat-out KNEW everyone would hate it and that if those provisions went into effect before the election, his election would have been impossible. He could not be elected today, no matter how much the media drooled over him, because now Americans have become familiar with the facts. And the incompetence and scandals that they managed to put off before the election are now out for everyone to see.
